Position overview:
As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing applications within the Spring Boot/Angular stack. While Angular expertise is our primary requirement due to the emphasis on frontend functionality development, proficiency in Java is also essential for handling backend domain logic. Additionally, DevOps skills, particularly in AWS, CI/CD, Docker/Docker Compose, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Gradle, are highly desirable but not mandatory.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop applications using Spring Boot and Angular, with a larger focus on frontend development
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, source control, and adherence to software engineering best practices
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Contribute to the long-term stability of banking software
Job Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional experience as a Java software developer
- Proficiency in Angular with a focus on frontend development
- Strong understanding of Java for backend development, including previous experience with Spring Boot
- Experience with unit testing, source control, and software engineering best practices
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative personality
- Motivation to work on long-term stable banking software
- Understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum
- Fluent in English; knowledge of German is a plus
